Vermicelli |
There are different types of vermicelli but all are
fine types of pasta. In fact the name "vermicelli" is Italian for
little worms! Italian vermicelli are thin strands of pasta made
from dough. The strands are often coiled into nests. They are
typically served as boiled pasta with a sauce.
Chinese vermicelli is made from Soya bean flour which is fried or
boiled then added to vegetable dishes or soup. |
