Eating edible cards.
This is one of the easiest recipes for children to make. No cooking, no knives, nothing complicated, just fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Remember to supervise your children whilst they are cooking.

INGREDIENTS

Pack of rice paper or potato paper (available in the cookery section from most large supermarkets)

4 tablespoons Icing sugar

Icing pens

Decorations

METHOD

YOUR CHILD - put the 4 tablespoons of icing sugar in a bowl and mix in a little water. Keep adding water until the mixture is moist but not runny.

 

 
YOUR CHILD - fold the rice paper in half.   

Fold the edible paper

YOUR CHILD - write whatever message or picture you want on the card using the icing pens. 

Keep trying if it doesn't write well at first, a bit of practice will make it much easier.

 




YOUR CHILD - Place a small blob of icing sugar on the paper wherever you want to add an edible decoration.

Place the edible decoration on the blob of icing and press down.
