Irish cuisine is more varied than many assume. The Irish stew is rightly famous but the more humble potato dishes are often forgotten.

POTATO SOUP
One of the main foods of the Irish for many centuries was the potato. It makes a great soup and requires very few other ingredients. It tastes absolutely delicious. We would suggest sticking to the recipe exactly, especially using the butter.

IRISH STEW
A tasty and authentic Irish Stew will contain lamb, vegetables, herbs and a thickening ingredient. We used traditional pearl barley to thicken up this stew. A culinary treat of a meal and all in one pot!
