COOK'S NOTES ON GARLIC PRAWNS
This is an ideal starter dish when served with crusty bread. It also
makes an ideal tapas dish.
Make sure the prawns are shelled, head removed and deveined.

PREPARATION
Pre-heat the oven to 220°C / 425°F / Gas Mark 8
Finely chop and crush the garlic.
De seed the sweet (bell) pepper and finely chop
Finely chop the parsley METHOD FOR
GARLIC PRAWNS

Place the butter, olive oil, garlic and sweet pepper in the serving dish and put
in the oven for five minutes until the butter is melted. Carefully remove the
dish from the oven and add the prawns. Spoon the hot garlic sauce over the
prawns so they are well covered. |

Place the dish in the oven for three minutes. Remove from the oven and spoon the
garlic sauce over the prawns again so they are covered once more. Return to the
oven for a further four minutes or until the prawns have turned pink.
Serve garlic prawns hot with crusty bread and cocktail sticks if they being used as a tapas. |
