Delicious cooked under the grill, heavenly cooked over a
barbecue.
Drizzle the sauce over the kebabs a few times as they
cook to keep the chicken moist. |

INGREDIENTS
This Soy Sauce and Honey Kebab recipe is enough for four kebabs. The
chicken cubes are best marinated in the soy sauce and honey mixture or a couple
of hours in the fridge before cooking. They can be left in the fridge to
marinate for up to a day if needed

100g honey |
3½oz honey |
70ml Soy sauce |
2fl ozs |

Juice of 1 lemon |

1 level teaspoon of mustard powder |
1 level teaspoon of mustard powder |
Cut the chicken into 3 cm (1in) cubes, crush or finely chop the
garlic.

Mix the soy sauce, honey, mustard powder and garlic in a bowl for a minute or
so. Squeeze in the lemon juice. Add the chicken cubes and make sure they are
well coated in the mixture. Put in the fridge for 2 hours or more. A stir after
an hour will make sure that the chicken cubes are still covered in the mixture. |

If you are cooking under the grill, turn it up to its highest heat now.
Cut the tomatoes into thick slices. Arrange the chicken pieces tomato
slices onto the skewers |

Place the loaded skewers under the gill or on the barbecue and cook for about 8
minutes. Turn them over, coat them in the marinade and cook for a further 8
minutes. |
