Peel the parsnips (do not peel the courgette, the skin is full of goodness for your baby) and roughly chop the vegetables.

Trim the green beans. The size of the cuts doesn’t matter as it will all be pureed or mashed once cooked.

Blended ingredients

Place the chicken on a baking tray and cook in the middle of a pre-heated oven on 190°C / 375°F / gas mark 5. Arrange the vegetables in a steamer or place in saucepans to boil.

Once cooked, place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl (if you are using a hand blender) or into your food processer and blend until the desired consistency is achieved.

When you are happy with the texture and consistency, spoon the mix into your freezer trays.

Allow to cool before freezing. When serving food to your baby after freezing, ensure it is piping hot throughout  and then cooled for your baby to eat.

As with all of our recipes, you may like to add a little of your child's usual milk before serving.
