WHAT IS IT?
The Tuckery is an unlicensed cafe conveniently located in the town centre of Warwick. It serves main meals, teas and coffees with snacks.

THE SEATING AREA
There are about 12 tables in the indoor seating area with a couple of tables outside. The cafe is simply and functionally decorated with a basic cafe feel to it. All the areas are clean with laminated tables and plain wooden chairs.

THE FOOD

There is a large range of food on offer to suit most tastes. Click the menu picture to enlarge it and see some of the menu.

The quality of the food is variable. the burgers are fine as are the omelettes. On the other hand the chicken and leek pie had very thin and soggy pastry. It definitely didn't taste homemade.

The vegetables are the frozen variety judging from taste and texture but they were cooked well. The portions were definitely on the large side, you will not be hungry after a visit to this cafe!

The coffee and tea tasted good although they could have been a little hotter than those served to us. There was a large selection of cakes, all visible within the cake cabinet. As well as the standard menus, there was a children's menu with all the meals kids might want.

SERVICE
The service was fast and efficient which is ideal if you don't have much time to spare. The staff were pleasant and helpful. All meals were served to your table from the kitchen.

PRICES
Even allowing for the variable quality of the food, the prices were definitely good. the majority of the main meal were in the £3 to £5 range. There were a couple a bit more expensive such as steak.

SUMMARY
If you are looking for cheap food, in a centrally located cafe, then the Tuckery should suit you well. they also excelled on the speed of service. But if you are looking for fresh local produce, cooked to a high standard then look elsdewhere.
