| A Video on Wassailing in the UK |
In the UK wassailing is a ceremony encourage cider apple trees to produce better apples. It is performed in February. Crowds dress up in colourful clothes and dance to music round the apple trees.
Lots of noise is made, in our case shots are fired into the air just above the apple tree! Old toast is also pinned onto the tree. At the end of the wassailing ceremony last year's cider is given to the participants.
